London Court Hotel is at 194–196 Earls Court Road, London SW5 9QF, roughly 100 metres from Earl's Court Underground station — about a two-minute walk. That makes us one of the easiest hotels in London to reach with luggage.

Heathrow runs direct to our nearest station on the Piccadilly line with no changes at all. Gatwick, Stansted and Luton each need one or two changes. Step-by-step routes for all four are below, along with walking directions from the local stations.

  2. Board an eastbound train towards Cockfosters.
  3. Stay on for about 40 minutes and get off at Earl's Court.
  4. Leave by the Earls Court Road exit.
  5. Turn right and walk about 100 metres — we're on your right.

Worth knowingThe Heathrow Express to Paddington is quicker but costs several times more, and still needs a change. The direct Piccadilly line is the better value with luggage.

Gatwick · LGW

Train to Victoria, then District line

  2. At Victoria, follow the signs down to the Underground.
  3. Take a westbound District line train towards Wimbledon, Richmond or Ealing.
  4. Travel four stops to Earl's Court, roughly 11 minutes.
  5. Leave by the Earls Court Road exit and walk 100 metres to the hotel.

Save moneySouthern trains to Victoria cost noticeably less than the Gatwick Express and take only a few minutes longer.

Stansted · STN

Express to Liverpool Street, then two lines

  2. Change to the Central line westbound and travel to Holborn.
  3. At Holborn, change to the Piccadilly line westbound.

  5. Leave by the Earls Court Road exit and walk 100 metres to the hotel.

Easier with luggageA National Express coach to Victoria takes longer but has just one change and proper luggage space.

Shuttle, train, then Piccadilly line

  1. Take the Luton DART shuttle from the terminal to Luton Airport Parkway.
  2. Take a Thameslink train to St Pancras International, about 30 minutes.
  3. Walk across to King's Cross St Pancras Underground station.
  4. Take the Piccadilly line westbound to Earl's Court, roughly 25 minutes.
  5. Leave by the Earls Court Road exit and walk 100 metres to the hotel.

Late arrival?Reception is staffed 24 hours, so a late landing is never a problem — but do tell us your flight number if you'll arrive after midnight.

Why not walkIt's about fifteen minutes on foot along Cromwell Road, which is busy and noisy. One stop on the Tube is far more pleasant.

From HeathrowA taxi takes about an hour in traffic and costs many times the Tube fare. The Piccadilly line is almost always the better choice.

Honest adviceCentral London is genuinely easier without a car. With the station 100 metres away, most guests who drive end up parking once and using the Tube.

Please note — there is no lift

The hotel is a Victorian building with stairs to all floors and no elevator. If you have heavy luggage or difficulty with stairs, tell us when you book and the team will help you up and store bags at reception.

Fares are lower and trains far quieter outside roughly 6:30–9:30am and 4:00–7:00pm on weekdays. If you're arriving with luggage, travelling between those windows makes a real difference.

Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out until 11:00am, but you can leave bags with us free of charge before or after. Reception is staffed around the clock, so early and late arrivals are fine.
