Every visitor needs an entry ticket, and the organisers say that applies “whether you’re 2 or 92”. You book a date and a one-hour slot to arrive in, from 10am to 8pm. Once you are inside, you can stay until closing.

Entry ticket When 2026 price
Off-peak Every Monday to Thursday in November (green slots) £1.00
Standard All day on some dates, and many mornings and afternoons (gold slots) £5.50
Peak Mostly later in the day and at weekends (orange slots) £8.25
  • Advance prices last until 23:59 the day before your visit. You can buy at the gate, but it costs more and popular slots sell out.
  • Booking fees are also included in the 2026 prices.
  • Spend £25 or more online, in one order, on rides, attractions, passes or meal deals and your entry is free.
  • However, rides, shows and attractions are paid for on top of entry.
  • Tickets are sold through the official website by the organisers’ partner, SeeTickets.

Prices and times are from the organisers’ Tickets Guide, checked on 3 October 2026.

4 stops Earl’s Court to Hyde Park Corner on the Piccadilly line

By Tube: four stops to Hyde Park Corner

Walk about two minutes from the hotel to Earl’s Court station and take an eastbound Piccadilly line train, towards Cockfosters. Hyde Park Corner is the fourth stop, after Gloucester Road, South Kensington and Knightsbridge.

Winter Wonderland entrances: which gate to use

The park has four gates, so use the one closest to what you want to do first:

Gate Closest stations Nearest areas inside
Blue Gate (south) Hyde Park Corner, Green Park, Victoria Skater’s Corner (the ice rink) and Show Town (the circus)
Green Gate (west) Knightsbridge, High Street Kensington Bavarian Village and Market Square (the Christmas markets)
Red Gate (east) Bond Street, Marble Arch Santa Land and Thrillville
Gold Gate (north) Marble Arch, Paddington Arctic Circle (Magical Ice Kingdom, Bar Ice, Real Ice Slide) and Luminarie Lane

From Earl’s Court, get off at Knightsbridge for the Green Gate or at Hyde Park Corner for the Blue Gate. At Knightsbridge, the organisers ask you to use the Hans Crescent exit.

Step-free access and busy stations

The organisers warn that Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge and Marble Arch get busy and can sometimes be closed. If you need step-free access or have a buggy, they recommend Green Park, which has lifts. Green Park is on the same Piccadilly line, five stops and about 10 minutes from Earl’s Court according to TfL. The organisers put the walk from there at about 17 minutes.

Driving and parking

The organisers say public transport is the best way to get to Winter Wonderland. If you do drive, they recommend Q-Park Park Lane, London W1K 7TY, which has entrances on Park Lane and at Marble Arch. There is no parking at the hotel itself, but there are public car parks nearby. Most of our guests find the Tube easier than driving in central London.

Getting back to Earl’s Court after 10pm

Winter Wonderland closes at 10pm and the Tube keeps running well after that. We checked TfL’s journey planner for a weekday in late November. Piccadilly line trains from Hyde Park Corner to Earl’s Court were still running after midnight. On Friday and Saturday nights the Night Tube runs, and the planner showed trains back at 2.36am.

Prefer the bus? Route 74 runs from Hyde Park Corner to Nevern Place, about two minutes’ walk from the hotel. TfL gives about 15 minutes on board in the evening. Our reception is open 24 hours, so you can come back as late as you like.

Hotels near Winter Wonderland: why Earl’s Court works

When you compare hotels near Winter Wonderland, look at the journey as well as the map. Earl’s Court is on the same Piccadilly line as Hyde Park Corner and Knightsbridge. So the trip is one train and a short walk. Here is what that means for a winter stay with us:

  • One line from Heathrow. The Piccadilly line runs from Heathrow to Earl’s Court with no changes, in about 40 minutes. Our hotel directions cover every London airport.
  • Somewhere for your bags. Winter Wonderland only lets in small bags and has no left luggage. We store luggage free before check-in and after check-out. You can go on the day you arrive or the day you leave.
  • A 24-hour front desk. Come back from an evening session whenever you like.
  • Rooms for two or three. The Classic Double suits couples, the Classic Twin and Deluxe Twin suit friends, and the Classic Triple suits families.
  • Museums on the way. South Kensington is two stops from Earl’s Court. A museum by day and Winter Wonderland by night is an easy plan.

Tips for visiting Winter Wonderland

  1. Go off-peak if you can. Monday to Thursday in November has the cheapest entry, and the organisers say the park is quieter then.
  2. Book by 23:59 the day before. That is when advance prices end.
  3. Arrive early in your slot. You can only get in within your one-hour entry window.
  4. Check the opening time. Several weekdays in late November and December open at 11am, 12pm or 2pm, not 10am.
  5. Travel light. Every bag is searched, bags must be A4 size or smaller, and suitcases, scooters and bikes are not allowed.
  6. Have your tickets ready on your phone or in the official Winter Wonderland app before you reach the gate.
  7. Leave gaps between pre-booked rides. The organisers say the park is large, so allow time to walk between attractions.

Make a day of it from Earl’s Court

The organisers say the park is liveliest later in the day and at weekends. That leaves the morning free for something else.

The free museums in South Kensington and Kensington are two stops away on the same line. Closer to the hotel, see our guide to things to do near Earl’s Court. It covers the garden squares, Brompton Cemetery, the Troubadour and the Finborough Theatre, all within ten minutes’ walk. For more on the station itself, see our Earl’s Court Tube station guide.
